Love is nothing to go blah-blah or shout
Rather it is something deep and unspoken about
Love is trust in an animal’s eyes
It is beauty in a morning sunrise
It is strength in a friend’s support
Solid and perennial like an ancient fort
Love opens doors to one and all
Uplifting those who perchance to fall
It seeks no approval, nor cares any less
Demands no attention, just an opportunity to Bless
Love shimmers through life like a party spark
Lighting up creation, bulb after bulb in the dark
An emotional display, Love is most definitely not
Being oh so intangible, yet easy to be caught
Don’t keep it in a box, if Love does come along
Embrace it and it’ll waft – like a melody without a song!
